lframe-inf avast alert while surfing

If someone can help i would greatly appreciate it. Today while surfing avast alerted me while at a site called richgames.com. The malware name is lframe-inf. The Malware type: Virus worm. When i tried to contain the virus a message popped up that said it was in use. Finally i just chose to stop.

When i ran avast to search and contain the worm the results showed no infections. Can someone help me understand what i was looking at? Thank you in advance.

Hi Gray,

Your webpage referenced couldn’t opened by me, and i also check with Norton SafeWeb and Browser Defender also didn’t found any harm malware because not tested yet.

Anyway, if avast has alerted you about this then you shouldn’t open that webpage. iFrame means that webpage has injected by worm to re-direct you to others webpage.

Hi,
maybe it was something, that I attach in picture below. It looks like bad infected site – iframe in "alt"attribute in “img” tag.

Thank you very much for your assistance. i hope there isn’t any code written in my system. The game i was trying to get to was either galaga or frogger but rest assured i will not venture to that site again.

There shouldn’t be, that is the whole point of the web shield (and the abort connection, stops the page/item from loading into your browser cache) to keep it off your system.

Given what has been said, the site has been hacked, a very common occurrence now, so they will have to clean up the infected pages and close the vulnerability allowing it to be hacked.

Every 3.6 seconds a website is infected http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=47096.msg396648#msg396648.
