licence key doesn't fit

My avast IS trial expired and the licence key I got via mail is too long, doesn’t fit. What to do?

I received a Licence “File” in my email as an attachment. ???

If you did not buy AIS and got a lincence with continous serial number instead of a lincence with a serial number composed by 3 sections. You got the lincence for Avast!free.

If you bought AIS you can ask for your lincence to be resend here.
