I personally would not purchase off EBay.
The possibility of ending up with a Flagged/Non valid/Fake License is far far too great. 8)
Legal licenses for avast are not being sold on Ebay and sites like that.
Get the clue…
You buy a license, but it doesn’t have your name on it…
Always purchase from avast directly or your local Avast Reseller.
I won’t argue the point as to whether or not this is fair. It is what it is. However, all licenses bought directly from the official sites are much too expensive when compared with 3rd party sales. I’ll stick with the ebay AVs.
The eBay licenses are a result of someone getting a special buy and then reselling. Except for Avast I have never had a bogus license.

Give it time, you will be bound to purchase either fake or cracked license again if you’re going to continue buying via non legitimate AV sales sites.
Maybe, but I have been buying on eBay for about 15 years. If one buys from a 100% seller, and also a boxed product is good, then I have had no problem. I have been using Kaspersky without problems.
I do appreciate the advice, but my experience is that I get licenses for 1/3 or less on eBay.
Avast Free is good protection, and I appreciate Avast providing it.
