I have uninstalled Mobile Security and Anti Theft from an old phone and installed again on a new one. Both phones have Android 4.4.
The new installation doesn’t recognise my purchased license but is otherwise working in “free” mode. How do I get the new phone to recognise my license which has almost a year to run? Assistance appreciated.
Have you removed the old device from https://my.avast.com ?
Have you followed the uninstall instructions ?

Yes - removed old device from my.avast. Followed uninstall instructions from the FAQ.
After I hit Go Premium I select I already have a license and a message indicates that by selecting YES a new license will be generated. However, right now I still can’t use the Premium features which I had on the old phone. If I try to enter my Licence code I see a message advising that the number has already been used. Can’t see where to go from here. My.Avast shows that I have the Premium Suite and shows the validity date. So, in Anti Theft the Free features are working but not the Premium.
I am still not able to use the Premium features on my New Phone. I think I know where the problem lies but do not know how to solve it. The Old Phone has been removed from My.Avast and only the New Phone is shown under Devices, but is indicated as a Free licence.
On the Licenses page it correctly shows the license as Premium Suite but under Devices Using This License it shows four instances of the Old Phone. This is probably due to incorrect uninstallation of the program during initial familiarization.
If I click on any of these instances, the message says The Requested Device Not Found. I have tried to re install Avast Mobile Security on the Old Phone which then shows an additional instance on the License page, but which is then removed after a correct uninstall, but leaving the other
four instances still there.
Is there any way to correct this without a hard reset and to transfer the License correctly to my New Phone?
I have the same problem, no solution proposed by Avast.
Avast forget and pass at another supplier’s.
I suggest to submit a ticket about it and ask avast to remove the devices from your account.
