I have purchased a W2k3 SBS suite at two different client locations. Both locations have a similar problem. Despite having enough licenses for the product, the system will not work properly. Avast installed on the workstations and the servers, but then keys out almost the whole network. For example, at one location only three stations are listed as functioning, yet even the server is supposedly not licensed! At the other location, 4 of 9 locations are actually working. The error codes are all “not enough licenses.” I purchased 10 licenses for each of the locations; one uses 8 and the other 9. Neither are working. What next?
I read the text of the license you gave me. It says that I am licensed for 10 servers and 1 client!!! Can someone at Avast communicate in some way and fix this error on your part? Just so you know, we thought we purchased a package for 1 server and 10 clients. Can you fix this? Can anyone at Avast communicate? This is your error. I will read the license of my other client when I am on sight. I suspect you have made the same mistake there as well. This explains why ADMN is not working properly. Will someone respond?
