I have been trying for several days to reregister and get a new key.
I have checked settings on my email to be sure that avast is accepted…and I don’t get my key. I even emailed for help and I don’t get any answer to that. What is going on? I can’t figure out what I am doing that is wrong.

I’ve had good results either getting my key or getting help from technical support in the past, so I think your problem may be with your e-mail address in some way.
If nothing else, you could try getting a free email account at yahoo and see if you get a response from Avast at that address…I have.

First you have 60 days full unrestricted use of avast using the Demo registration, so you have some time to resolve this.
What is the domain of the email address you gave, the bit after the @ some have had problems in the past.
Does your ISP filter email directly, some do and they don’t tell you about deletions ?
As ardvark mentions try another email address not on the same domain as the one you have tried.

I never would have thought of that myself. I am pretty non-computer smart. Totally self taught 65 yr old…so I learned my one new thing for today.
