My computer does not have the means to open the licence key attachment you sent by email.
What program opens the attachment? The computer’s web search cannot find one.
I paid you weeks ago. Send an attachment key that can be opened by a desktop running Windows Vista.
This manner of contact is really poor and your emails are most confusing.
If, as the posts on your message board seem to indicate, this Avast 5 is filled with bugs I’d rather have my money applied to a security monitoring program that actually does work.
I would appreciate any reply to this post by email.

I presume you have been sent the license file, xxxxxx.avastlic ?
This file is to be opened by avast:
Left click avast! tray icon → Click ‘Maintenance’ on the left → Click on the subheading ‘Registration’ → Click on the bar that says ‘Upgrade’ -->Click on the ‘Insert avast! Pro Antivirus/Internet Security License File’ → In the window that opens, find and select the license file.
You should then be good to go

I tried doing this–I’m having the same problem. But, there is no “Maintenance” option when I left click on the icon in my toolbar. Help, please!
