License key disabled for avast4.6 Pro

I get this message every time i try to update.

The license key for this product is temporarily disabled.
-your system time/date has changed; fix it and enter the license key agan.

I recently installed the 90 day trial version of avast4.6 Professional for my workstation at work just a week ago, and accidentally set the time/date of my computer ahead past the expiration while checking the time/date calendar. I didn’t know until the next day when i booted up the machine.

So i fixed the time/date but the problem is still occuring, how do i fix this?

BTW heres a logfile of the problem.

Any Solutions? I have checked the forum but didn’t find anything, although i noticed similar problems with people with the home version, but I can’t re-register with the pro version.

It’s an antipiracy feature to avoid the use of the 60day trial period more than once.
I’m sure if you explain this to them (support@avast.com) they should give you some more days for testing 8)

You don’t need to register again, if you have set correct system time, just re-enter your current license key into avast and updates will be enabled. This works in version 4.6.665 or later.

I tried entering the license key once I fixed the time/date, but no luck, it tells me the key is invalid even though i copy and paste it in. :frowning:

I guess I’ll explain it to support and see what happens
