I have downloaded the debian version of avast for ubuntu and was provided this link to get a license file, however it is no longer valid. http://www.avast.com/i_kat_207.php?lang=ENG

How do I get a new key, the only thing I have is a key called avastrc from several years ago.

  2. As has been explained many times already, the consumer version for Linux is gone for years and not supported.

If you want to use a Linux version you need to buy the server version from a reseller…
