You don’t need any license keys to avast! free… You just need to make a register.

I purchased the new 5.0 Avast Internet Security software and received my license key vie email but the license will not install.

Or are you talking about avast! Free? You don’t need any license key for that…

Please, upload (attach) the avast log:
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\Setup.log
or C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\Setup\setup.log

If the file is too big for the forum, post the last 400-500 lines of it.

What version of avast are you using ? the free does not require a license and if you have Pro or AIS then go buy a license :

avast! Free can be registered via the program his self or via the website.

avast! Pro and Internet Security can be purchased via the website his self.

No. Nobody will send it as it is outdated. Update to the latest 6.0.1289.

Click on Maintenance, than Registration for online registering.

Open Avast.
Click on “Maintenance” then “Registration”.
Fill out the form for your license key and click “Submit”.

Inserting the license key into: avast! Free Antivirus, avast! Pro Antivirus and avast! Internet Security.
