License question

Hi,

I don’t know if I’m in the good forum, but I have one question about the ADNM license expiration.

By ADNM license, I mean expiration of an Avast! Standard Suite (with managed clients) (or Enterprise etc.).

Our clients don’t receive any alert which indicate the end of the license (like Avast! home edition with the red pop-up message) AND they can continue to use the program (“I don’t need to renew, because the license never expires !”).
why the license never expires ? why can they continue to use avast! ? I mean, can’t we stop the updates or the engine update or a red pop-up, i don’t know, but something that can block the client ?

It is my understanding that…

The license with ADNM will expire, when it does ADNM console can not connect to the AMS server and it won’t no matter what you do. Not only that but the machines won’t update and i believe the realtime scanner disables.

So not only this but if they continued to use the product out of license they are breaching the license agreement and law.
