Tell me please, if I buy a license for Avast 7 Internet Security for 3 years and then a new version of the program (for example Avast 8 Internet Security) is developed, will my license be valid for this new version of the program or I’ll have to buy a new license?
Will I be able to use the new version of the program with my license for Avast 7 Internet Security?

Your license will be still valid for further versions.

The normal procedure for Avast is to extend the remainder of a license into the new version if you update to the new version.
As an example, you bought a 3 year license for version 7 and 2 years later, version 8 is released at which time you update to version 8. You now have one year left on the license for use with version 8.
You do not have to update right away. Suppose it is 4 months after version 8 release that you finally update to version 8. At that point, you will have 8 months remaining on the license for use with version 8.
