Lifetime License to Avast Free ??? Really ???

When uninstalling the Free Avast, I see the following:

If I read correctly, accepting this offer will mean I’ll never need to re-register
my copy of Avast Free. :slight_smile:
(I’m sure that doing a clean install of Avast Free would be an exception to this.)

Yeah I got that too when I had to uninstall and re-install avast and use it’s uninstall utility. When uninstalling via add/remove i get that message. Avast Free 2015.10.2.2215. I was like ???

Thanks for reporting this here. Hope Avast can rectify this issue.

I remember there was a post some months ago where was stated that avast was thinking of removing the need to get a new license every year.
By the looks of it, it is now doing it automatically.
