Hi,

I recently downloaded Avast 4.6 Home Edition. Build April 2005 4.6.652. I am running Windows XP.

I am able to connect to the LimeWire Network, my connection status shows Excellent. However, when I try and do a search for anything, it never finds anything that I am searching for. LimeWire worked fine for me until I installed Avast. Can anyone help me?

ARe you saying it doesnt search properly or it doesnt download properly??It works fine here, Try a re-install of Limewire and see what happens.

Limewire and Avast have always worked fine here.

But just to test/check, try temporarily disabling avast and then attempt to download search/something again.

i’ve experienced such scenario with winmx…but for my case…it’s not avast…but the tcp/udp ports settings…
