I am using the latest version of Avast Pro. Is there a setting to limit the number of session logs which the app will keep? I would like to limit the number of session logs to a maximum of 6; at that point the oldest log will be deleted. I could not find any info on this in the Help or FAQ files. Thank you.

As far as I know there is a single log file and new information is appended as needed. You can set the size of this file by right clicking the a-icon, then clicking Programs Settings …, then click Logging.
If you open the avast! log viewer you can set a date/time range you wish to view by clicking the small triangle at the upper left.
Hopefully these two options will help.
You have a setting into avast GUI of the Professional version for that.
You can manually change (or add) the AutoDelete value into [UserInterface] section of avast4.ini file.
