Does anybody knows how to get rid of the really annoying Linkbury Smartbar toobar. I tried almost everything I could think off, plus suggestions I found on the net. None worked. How does avast! cope with malware?

From what i was just reading you need to uninstall the Messenger Plus Community task bar from Add Remove programs, Linkbury is included with messenger Plus so you need to uninstall the whole feature.
You can also use this removal tool Smart-Toolbar-Remover/

Just uninstalling the linkbury toolbar is not enough polonus, it’ll just come back after rebooting which is why the whole of messenger plus must be uninstalled.
The OP can always try your method first and if it doesn’t work they know what to do next

If our suggestions dont work then i would agree with that but it shouldn’t be neccesary, the articals i browsed through all said that simply removing linkbury wont be sufficient and was recomended to uninstall Messenger Plus which includes Linkbury in it’s installation.
