List and select, FIRST

I can’t trust grimefighter to remove programs, settings or files I might want.

Without options this makes grimefighter useless.

I just got my 2015 AVAST update, nice but no change in the grimefighter behavior.

Nice idea, very pretty, but this is a software hospital pass, please fix it Avast.

GrimeFighter is not for removing programs, settings, files.
It is for removing Grime.

GrimeFighter sure has options.
It seems you just haven’t seen them.

Then there’s two stupid people besides you.
I can’t find them either.

A simple list RIGHT UP FRONT of what will removed would REALLY REALLY KGCXDYhelp.

Mechanic: I’m going to fix your car, don’t worry it’s paid for.
Me: What are you going to do.
Mechanic: …

Yeah, right.

In another thread avast said to make changes to GrimeFighter to make things more clear and some other changes.
When they will be ready/when they will be introduced…
I don’t know, I don’t work for avast.
Only they can tell/give a estimate.

All I can say is that GrimeFighter, in my opinion,
never should have been released as a final product in the way it was and currently is.

I recommend not to use it, but use avast (either the free version or a paid one) + mbam + Glary Utilities (or CCleaner)

Hi phantom and Chuzz,

You are right that there isn’t enough up front information in GrimeFighter and we are working on solving that right now. We hope that before the end of January there will be an update that allows you to click a button “details” which will show you what grime we have found.

Thanks for your feedback,
