For some reason whenever I do a scan this error “Error: the system cannot find the path specified (3)” always shows up in the scan logs.
I’ve included a screen capture below.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

if this drive is removable, are you sure you haven’t disconnect it after the reboot or during the scan?
It’s the main hard drive where all my programs and windows is installed, so no.
Do you mean you’ve the windows directory under G:?
Wich type of scan do you try?
Quick o full system?
Try to disable in the scan settings->sensitivity the box “Follow links during scan” and then report
Yeah I reinstalled windows onto my second hard drive, also have two disk drives so its G:
I did what you said and it works, why is that?
I report to you from the avast help:
By checking the box "Follow links during scan" you can ensure that the targets of any file system links are also scanned for potentially harmful content. If this box is checked, the content of any folder to which you would be redirected from a folder which is being scanned, will also be scanned.
Probably they are old link, or dead link to folders not accessible
