RNfromTN … Thank’s for the reply … When I put the disk in it gives the option to go to R for Recovery or Q to exit from install … I chose R … then it stated which recovery would you like to use … standerd … or full recovery … I did the full option … when every thing was finished at the end of the install it ask me to re-boot … when I did the re-boot … it started out fine but as soon as it got to the pci Device listings … where it says boot from cd _ at the bottom of the page it goes strate to load needed DLL"s for Kernel and thats it … thats as far as I can go with it … If I press any key on the board it starts that process all over again with the same statement … I went back and did a try with the standerd option I get the same thing … I dont understand why it goes to Recovery … ?? … I’m not wanting recovery … I wanted to wipe everything out and start over with a new Install … The cd I’m using for this is the one that came with the PC … Thank’s for the Help on this …
Hi, is it possible you’re missing a cd?
My daughter has a emachine T-2341 and it has 2 recovery discs. 1)the OS and 2) a drivers cd.
Sorry I can’t think of anything else.
Update on this … when doing a reformat do not use the operating system CD that came with the PC … What happens when you use this Disc is that it wipes out you’re ( Dynamic Link Library ) you’re (DLL’s) … that’s why when you see load needed DLL’S for kernel there gone cause you used the operating system CD to try a Reformat and it wiped out you’re library … If this has happen to you … what you need is the windows Download Disc for you’re DLL’s to be re-installed … There’s nothing you can do to get you’re PC up and running with out the windows download … Do a clean Install of you’re new windows download … Then everything will be back in running order … I hope this help’s a few out there concerning … load needed DLL’s for Kernel …
