I have 5 avast! 4 Pro in local network. How can I do local mirror to auto update them. Can I use “iAVS for avast32 3.0” or something else?
I think avast Pro cannot accept mirroring in local networks in order to update.
But you can download the full update and apply on the other computers: http://files.avast.com/iavs4pro/vpsupd.exe
Are all the computers connected to the Internet?
Update downloads for avast! 4 doesn’t use much traffic, it’s around 5-20 kB.
iAVS for avast32 3.0 isn’t compatible with version 4.
For larger networks we recommend using ADNM that has built-in mirror capability for avast! Network Clients (not avast! Professional).
Let me know by email, I can send you link to standalone mirror with instructions that can be used with Professional version without ADNM.
