Local mirror was updated, but clients were not.

Hi there,

I have changed the configuration of AMS to use proxy recently (I’ve been using dial-up to update local mirror till now). Funny thing is that AMS successfully update local mirror from internet through proxy, it does not update any of client sites. When I tried manually updating client’s virus database, it shows progress downloading but no change. Console still is showing old date of virus data while AMS Mirror Status log shows new version.

What 's the problem? Where should I look at? Please advise.

Please send me file setup.log from avast4\setup folder on one PC that doesn’t update (to email in my profile)

You should set proxy server in ADNM console, under computer group’s properties select Policies: avast! Antivirus → Updates, and press Proxy settings button.
Here specify proxy address and port, and if proxy requires authentication, set allowed user name and password.

Now AMS seems working alright. I guess mirroring was not completed properly somehow when I switched to proxy. After AMS downloaded new version of virus database. Clients started copying it. Thank you again for your assistance.
