If i lose my phone, can i just locate it through my PC?
I dont know anyone with an android phone or iphone, so ill need to trace it with a PC. Is this possible? If so, where? I cant seem to find it.
Not now, but this will be available in near future. (Work in progress.)

Yes, I totally want this feature. Having a web-interface to my phone with all the commands, well at least ‘location’ implemented, would be fantastic.

This is a must-have feature, (if I lose my phone I won’t have a phone on which to send texts).
How will I know when this feature becomes available?
It will be posted on the forum.
I think everyone is waiting for this one and also for it to show outgoing calls and SMS, and web URLS viewed
Hope you all realize that this kind of feature, such as that implemented by Lookout and iPhone, requires a working WiFi/data internet connection on the mobile which is not guaranteed once the phone is stolen and the SIM card is changed. For example, the new SIM card may not have data enabled on the account, or the thief does not activate a working APN for data, etc.
It was the reason why I switched from Lookout to Theft Aware because Theft Aware always relied on SMS as the primary means of communicating with and controlling the phone. SMS is guaranteed to always be available after theft, unless of course the thief does not install a SIM card which is highly unlikely.
Anyway, I am sure AVAST recognizes this limitation, and I hope the PC comm/control implementation they are working on will have a working SMS control interface built in.
The Theft Aware Beta had online remote control. First it used Wifi/Data connection and if the phone didnt answer it timed out and the commands would be sent by SMS and then returned…
