Hi.hope i am posting this in the right place.Avast found to virus.they was moved to the chest.but i can’t locate the log files.i have looked every where with no luck.so hope you can help me please
Try Maintenance. If there is an infection in the virus chest leave it there. In a few days or even a week or two “right click” on the file then
click on “scan” while it’s still in the chest. If it then scans clean then replace it to its original position. If it still shows an infection leave it alone.
As long as it’s in the chest the infection will pose no issues. 
PUP = not a virus / Possible Unwanted Program.
Just a quick question why did you run a boot scan? ???
A boot scan should only be ran if avast suggests you do so.
Hi. when i restarted my computer.Avast was doing the boot scan.I posted what you see in the attachments to a computer help group.(been with them for years)also a Hijack log.and they asked me to find the log file and open it copy the contents & paste it in your next reply. Without this information I’m afraid we can’t help you.
and still cant find it… :-[ I did not know you do the same help in here…I’m learning new things every day…thank you for your help.

i am not sure if my computer as a infection …but will try out that link you sent me and post what i find.One problem i have been having for a while now is Google chrome.which is very …slow to up load pages i use that a lot to get in to my emails on msn…now outlook…reason use that is it translates pages for me for my psp 9 tuts.so not sure if it’s my computer is old like me… ;)or Google chrome ??I try to go back what i had before but it keeps telling me to Please upgrade your web browser Download the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer
that is 8 mine is 6…so i try…took ages in the end it said sorry not downloaded try again…was told Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 don’t work with psp9(paint shop pro) is that right?only wanted Google chrome to translate for me but it took over.i have a lot of links in Google chrome that i don’t want to louse them
i am not great at pc talk…just finding my way as they say :-[
