Log-in Page Crashes Browser

D/l’ed and installed Version 77.1.1831.91 (Official Build) (64-bit) Avast Secure Browser today and have been using it quite a bit. I’ve run across an issue however. Every attempt to log into my account at https://www.woodsmithplans.com/ results in the browser crashing. Cleared history, etc., and retried several times but the crash was always the result. Any ideas?

I obviously can’t log in since I don’t have an account.
Signing in using made up information gives me the following.

Maybe it’s time for a clean install of the Secure Browser
Download the installer from here, https://www.avast.com/en-us/secure-browser
Download the Secure Browser Removal tool from here, https://download.avastbrowser.com/avast_secure_browser_uninstall.exe
Save your Bookmarks via the Book Marks Manager if you have custom bookmarks so you can import them when you re-install.
Uninstall Secure Browser via Programs and Features - Reboot
Run the removal tool, reboot, run the installer import your favorites if you saved them.

Report back if that’s solved the problem or not.

Thanks Bob… Just getting around to this. With the banking mode issues now, as well as mine as reported earlier, I may wait a bit before going to that length. BTW, when banking mode was working I did not experience the crashes at the log in pages as I did with just the browser. One other thing, the captcha verification’s to post here are a major PIA. Just saying, there are alternatives that are more user friendly. At least for me they are hard to read. FYI, logging into these forums crashed the Avast browser. Using FF to post here.

Time to do a clean install.
