When I lot into my PC I am getting a message [sometimes] saying Avast will clean up my computer and give me an extra 400+mg of space. In view of the recent hacking of this site, is this genuine ?
I can’t see where I would save 400mb which is a lot considering I don’t have much on my PC being fairly new.
Sounds like a popup ad from Avast for their GrimeFighter.
I can’t say anything for or against the product since I’ve never used it.
It isn’t compatible with Windows 8.1
You can also remove that module from avast! through the add/remove function, choosing “change”
and unselect GrimeFighter.
