Hello I’m trying to get a definitive answer on this for the free version since I can’t figure it out searching online and also in their privacy practices:
When editing/saving any file on the PC (not talking about the manual scans) I know File Shield will check if it’s malicious, and send file metadata (e.g. filename, modified date) to the Avast server if it’s malicious. My question is is file metadata stored on the server on ALL files edited/saved (including clean no threat files), or ONLY the files flagged being malicious?
