Logging URLs of sites I visited?

Hi.

I am still using Firefox 3.6 and Windows XP.

Today I get a Security Report pop-up advising me Avast has scanned 13,238 items in last 30 days and detected 0 infected files.

The report stated 3 web & network objects were found infected and blocked.

Thanks to Avast three items that could harm my PC were prevented from potentially doing damage.

My question is: While reading this report I wondered if Avast creates or maintains a log(s) for the URLs of websites I click on…or any other identifiers that could identify the websites I surf?

If so, is there a way to disable the log(s) ?

Thanks for your help.

Avast doesn´t log sites visited. So if you are a child, yourparents won´t know what you´re up to through avast. About the 13,238 files scanned in 30 days and 0 infected, if you are concerned about the 0 (I would), you might consider scanning with malwarebytes, hitmanpro, gmer, and a few other stuff.

I certainly wouldn’t recommend hitmanpro, experience from one of the malware removal specialists has found when used it can be somewhat dangerous in removing important files (seen in some of the systems he has cleaned and had to replace the missing files).

You are a bit presumptuous. lol

Actually I’m a 43 y/o pervert interested in maintaining privacy.
