Avast blocked 4 connections and 1 infected page yesterday and I need the names of the connections/page.
Does Avast keep a log of the various Shields? (if so where?) Or just when you run a scan?
PS. I’m running Windows 7 64bit.
See C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report folder (may be hidden), the two files are webshield.txt and networkshield.txt.
You should be able to view the Web Shield log via the avastUI, Real-Time Shields, Web Shield and click the Shield Log link (bottom right of the window), it should have recent detections in there. You may need to drag the column headings to view the full data.

The bit in the AvastUI doesn’t seem to save the names for very long, that is unless I deleted them (which is unlikely but I can’t really remember).

I don’t know if that is correct (I suspect not), it just concatenates the length in the column, so you have to expand the column width by dragging the column header to the right, as I did in the example (there is more there I just didn’t drag it too far for the image).
You have the backup of the data file which is where the data is imported from.
