I kno look2me isnt really a virus or worm but its really annoying me. Ad-aware cnt get rid of it at all, neither can my avast. I read all up on it, and i downloaded every automatic removing program there is and none of them can do it. So i have no problem removing it manuely, thing is part of procedure is i need run my regedit wich wont?!!
… it says “Systemfile is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications”. Please help

To get rid of Look2me is more or less easy using this tool: http://www.atribune.org/content/view/28/
The Problem is, that you do not know, if it is the only Malware on your pc. So you should try to get help from an expert from an ASAP Forum[like landzdown).

Want to agree with raman - Look2Me-Destroyer.exe from atribune.org is the easiest and most reliable way to get rid of Look2Me.
All antiviruses, not only Avast, have some problems with it.

I would say that is primarily because look2me is Adware and not a virus so those AV that don’t also specialise in Adware are likely to have problems in detection.
