Looking at 2007 so far, it seems to have been a big year of updates ...

I’ve noticed that a lot of programs have been updated to new versions or is being tested for a new version during 2007 so far. I’ve seen Winpatrol 2007, Ad-Aware 2007, A-Squared 3.0, the AVG Antispyware 7.5.1.x.x, and some others.

Also, there has been active testing and development on new versions on programs, like Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0, Trillian Astra, Spybot 1.5, EasyCleaner (though it seems author Toni seems to be very preoccupied to put final touches), and some others.

Is it just me ? I believe that Microsoft’s push on Windows Vista had everyone scurrying to make new touches on compatible versions, or is it something else ?

EDIT-
How can I forget about Alwil’s development on Avast Firewall !! Hows that coming along ?

I don’t think they’re in a hush right now…
They never get compromised with a schedule.
We’re waiting avast 5 meanwhile…

Alwil working on Avast 5, Avast Firewall, Avast for Macintosh yes indeed a year of software development
