What do you want to monitor? Connection to the Internet?
Or you want to know which drivers, files are loaded by a particular application?

If it is about monitoring processes, I’d advise process monitor, if it is a program to monitor the integrity of the processes that run on your computer, use X-Ray PC, also freefixer is a good anti malware program. There are also a whole range of programs to monitor what is started up: StartDreck, autoruns, Startup List by Soeperman products, etc.
Just be more specific to know what you are after, and what you are to monitor. You can monitor almost everything that goes on on your comp: TDIMonitor, NeoMonitor for your connections, etc. etc.
