Loop scanning under screen saver?

Will the loop scanner just continually loop Scan indefinitely under screen saver in a limited user acct in winxp sp2?? I have the avast screen saver activated but I’m worried about it under a limited user configuration. Plus how will that interfere with the VRDB generator if it updates during screen saver? Won’t the two conflict if they are both activated at the same time?

I’m not sure that the screen saver will be able to scan system areas or areas with access restriction… :
