Most probably the messages are lost.

You do not want to receive all that spam mail, “n’est pas?”. Remind the sender of the hick-up and ask the mail to be re-send,
without the flagged issue. Or you can contact your provider (for some reasons containment policy is not that bad, not bad at all),
