Lost my most important password

Hi there i’m posting this because i have lost the password that keeps safe my passwords so i was wondering how do i change it or get it back.Thanks.

Is there is no way to recover it so does it mean i have to stop using avast?

What should I do if I forgot my Main Password? We do not store your Main Password locally or on any server, to ensure your privacy. This means that if you forget your main password, unfortunately there is no way to recover or reset it.
It means you need to remove avast passwords and install it again. There is no reason to stop using it.

Best is ofcourse to remember the password.

I always Wright Down in a book any and all passwords I use; as well as a PC backup of all passwords and then encrypt that document.
That’s just me. :slight_smile:
