Hi, hoping someone can help. I forgot the pin to my Avast and now appear to be stuck. I looked at lost pin threads and tried to connect the device to my Avast account so I could then have control to reset the pin. The problem with that is when I try to tell Avast on my device to connect to this account it tells me the Anti Theft bit is too old and I have to update it. But I can’t update it without the pin. Unfortunately I didn’t use a phone number reset either. I’ve never forgot a pin and always use the same ones (I have about 4 I rotate) so it’s a complete mystery to me as to what I set this as. I tried the uninstall but can’t find the anti-theft bit to uninstall. It’s all very frustrating, made more so by this being a mess I created but I am hoping someone can help?
