Lost Time On License/ No Response on Support Ticket

Hi,
Submitted a support ticket back on Feb 01, 2014, but no response as of yet. Is there anyone from Avast moderating here? This whole business of losing the remaining time on your current license the moment you purchase a new one, is utter and complete nonsense. I have other software that must be renewed annually (ie. System Mechanic) just to name one, and the new license time is always added onto the END of your current subscription.

WHY ON EARTH SHOULD YOU HAVE TO LOSE SOMETHING YOU’VE ALREADY PAID FOR?

It’s not like this is something they couldn’t fix if they had a mind to, I’m sure. I’ve seen other threads on this, but evidently it’s not a concern to Avast, otherwise they’d have done something about it by now. Or at least responded to my support ticket!

I did get a tech support person on the phone who actually said, “It’s easier for Avast to do it this way.” Well, bully for you I said! I’m sure all of us that have lost time we’ve ALREADY PAID FOR, are satisfied knowing that we’ve made things easier for Avast! OMG

Let’s face it gang, those of us who love this software are stuck between a rock and a hard place. If I didn’t love it as much as I do, I’d dump this company in a heartbeat, just based on this ridiculous and unnecessary practice. Oh well, I guess we’re stuck…but at least we’re together! Ha ;D

Jeff

Something has failed in your case. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I’ll bring sales attention to it.

Could you tell me your ticket ID?

I posted a support ticket over twenty days ago and have not received a response. I wanted to try out Grimefighter but I was not satisfied so I requested my money back.
