How to re-display the missing lower right ICON. ??? :-\

  1. File to run/launch ?
  2. Function to enable/click ?

This is the process that would display the avast tray icon, C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastUI.exe.

Check in the windows Task Manager to see if that process is running ?

If it is running:

  1. check that it is set to display (a default action) - avast Settings > Appearance
  2. check that the avast tray icon isn’t hidden in your windows taskbar settings.

Tried it. No change.

Just saying tried it, no change doesn’t help much. We need to know what you did, e.g. what the settings were, etc. this shows us that you understand what we said and how you tried to follow it.

If the avast icon was previously displayed ?
Then a reboot may resolve it, but that isn’t certain. The other conditions in note 1 & 2 need to know if the icon isn’t hidden by the windows taskbar, etc.

Click the little arrow next to the system tray to see if it’s amongst your hidden system tray icons.
