Does Lphant not offer a means of having your AV scan the completed download ?

If it does this is the path to the file that does the scan (assuming avast is installed in the default location), C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe.

It does not. Avast will Scan the files when the downloads folder is open so it is not a very great problem. I just miss the time when avast stopped the files from being downloaded, when I used to work with Emule . Thanks anyway DavidR

You’re welcome, perhaps you should suggest this as an option for lphant to have files scanned by your AV as this is a feature in many other P2P applications.
