Hola, desde que he instalado avast en mi mac, me sale la pantalla gris con el simbolo de apple y un engranaje y no consigo arrancar el ordenador.
cmo consigo desintalar avast, porque me está creando conflicto en el arranque.
ayuda por favor.

Trata de arrancar en modo seguro: Mientras la máquina está arrancando, haga clic en la tecla “Shift” hasta que aparezca el signo de manzana (logo), luego suelte el botón. I will provide instructions on how to actually uninstall Avast for Mac in my next post, feel free to translate them to Spanish.

To uninstall Avast! for Mac in Safe mode (press shift during booting), open Avast! app after login in and from the top menu: avast! > Uninstall avast!

If you had a different AV before Avast! be sure to completely uninstall it (refer to the vendor’s documentation).

The only difference between my instructions and Safesurf’s is that I actually tell you how to uninstall the application, Safesurf’s tells you how to uninstall the safari extension which will not solve your problem. cuando arranco con shift, sale debajo del icono de la manzana una barra de carga, cuando llega a la mitad se para y se quita , se queda el engranaje girando sigue igual no avanza.

I suggest you try booting into single user mode (command + s when starting the mac).

To uninstall avast type the following command exactly as it appears below, no line breaks:

sudo sh /Library/Application\ Support/Avast/components/uninstall/com.avast.uninstall.app/Contents/MacOS/uninstall.sh

Press enter.

It will ask for your password, provide it.

Let it run, then type “reboot” followed by enter.
