Probably because of options I chose when installing avast ! 4 Home, I do not have the Mail protection Wizard option available from the Start menu. As I now wish to use the mail protection how do I get this option back - deinstall and reinstall? Or is there an easier way?

No, the file is not there.
You might want to uninstall avast! and reinstall. Maybe you didn’t pick it from the list as you were installing the first time.
When you re-install your avast! choose typical installation and everything will be ok.
Ylap, your avatar is way too big for forum standards. There were some discussions and we came to conclusion that avatars shouldn’t exceed 110x110 pixels. Yours is a way too big (200x200) and that’s kinda out of standards…
No hard feelings, this is just friendly advice… we just don’t wanna overload our precious forum.
If you still would like to use that picture (or part of that picture) as your avatar, you may wanna try this one (see attachment)… of course if you like it… ;D
