I will certainly plead ignorance … i just recently started using Avast … and all seemed well. Then I had that problem in Outlook Express where it “seemed” to be screwing up my server settings. Well i found the answer to that question in the FAQ on their website. Now I feel really ignorant because it says if you have problems still, to run Mail Protection Wizard and do this and that … and I can’t find anywhere to open that particular program in Avast.

Can you help a newbie with such a simple thing?

Mail wizard > Have you looked in your start menu? ;D Very logical place to look imo ;D

If, for any reason, you do not have a link to MPW where Artras said, try to execute the file ashPopWz.exe in your avast folder installation :wink:
