Mail.ru encourages gamers to uninstall Avast

There is a surprising message in the Russian section of the forum: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=128903.msg959678#msg959678

I have been using your product on my home computer (Avast free) for a long time. I am playing a game project by mail.ru "Allody-Online". Recently, some problems started in the game. When requesting customer support, I was asked to remove your product, and really the problems disappeared. Here's a link to their tech support page indicated that your product has compatibility problems and the recommendation to remove your antivirus.

I ask to make your beautiful antivirus compatible with the game client.

If I were a member of Parliament, I would have initiated a law criminalizing the recommendation to “remove antivirus to play the game.”

George, what about writing a blog entry about that?
Deborah asked this some time ago: <edited: link to a reserved forum>
I don’t know if the offer is still open.

I’ll send the link by IM to you.

Sorry but I am not good at writing blogs.

I sent you my answer by PM service.

In my experience mail.ru is a bit(!) dodgy. Spammers and they have a hard to remove toolbar (installed without permission).

An Englishman, who uses Mail.ru? A rather unusual case.
