The IP shown in your 1st image is for mail.optonline.net, so the same as your 2nd images domain.
Is this your email service provider ?
If this isn’t your email service provider and or if you weren’t sending email or automatically checking for email then it would be more suspicious.
I suspect the avast certificate is not imported in the email client.
That would be fine under normal circumstances if it only happened when sending email. But the frequency (seen in the OPs other post) is pretty high. My major concern is the fact it is svchost.exe doing the connecting not the email client.
Yes. This is one of two mail servers i use.
I’m not actually doing anything when this happens.
But I did set up Windows 10 Mail app. About a month ago.
But I don’t even have the app open when these notification pop up.
Although I suspect it is always running in the background.
One just popped up while I was typing this.

Sounds like the right direction - but don’t know how to apply this in Windows 10 “Mail” app.
Maybe I’ll just delete the damn thing!

Just deleted my mail accounts from the app.
Let’s see if the pop-ups stop now.
