The Web Shield, File System Shield, and Mail Shield settings all have an option to set a Report file name.
The default (Avast Premier 2016) seems to be a Star: “*”
I’ve looked in documentation and in the Forum and I cannot find out what the actual report names are nor where they are located. Are these not saved to disk anywhere? If so, under what names and where is the default location?
I tried changing the name of one of the reports and then running a Smart Scan, but I still couldn’t find where the report for that segment was stored.
The asterisk *, means that they take the default name of the Shield or Scan.
For Win10 I believe they should be in the C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report folder, this may or may not be a hidden folder. I don’t use Win10 so I can’t confirm this.
