It use to continue to warn until the problem was corrected or the check was removed from the “automatically detect and warn about unprotected SSL connections” box, but now it is once and then disappears forever even if the box stays checked. It doesn’t matter if it is the same account or a different account that is mis-configured, it never returns. I assume this behavior was changed because of some complaints about the pop-up?
Yes, the warning is a little bit offensive, so it appears only once for a given server/protocol.
Thanks for the reply. Did a bit of looking around and found it is easy to restore warnings for a given server/protocol. It only requires a small change to EmailShield.ini SuppressSslWarning=
