Every time I activate Mail Shield, at least half my incoming emails get shredded, with header info not matching the body and very frequently re-attaching the header to a different email’s body, resulting in the body broken down to its HTML code and disrupting an entire batch of email. Worse, it flat ignores emails that are clearly attempts to phish or redirect to a fake web page either in an attempt to install malware or adware. My email is inundated with supposed valid sites claiming some file or account is damaged and needs repair–the types of emails Avast is supposed to be blocking.
Yet again, I am turning off Mail Shield because it is completely useless.
To reiterate, an entire batch of incoming emails with KNOWN content was made useless as header information bore no relationship with content and contend was devolved into raw code with most links to specific content broken due to an inability to recognize URLs taking up multiple lines of text.
