Mail Shield

Hi

When I last looked in my SSL accounts screen, there were 4 POP3 and 4 SMTP entries. I have 4 different email accounts and the details displayed looked OK. I’ve not had any problem sending or receiving emails.

I’ve just noticed an additional POP3 entry but instead of displaying an email account it displays an IP address.

Any idea what this could be about?

Would you mind attaching a screenshot here, please.
Thx.

happens with Gmail off and on when using the mail shield for the first time, although I haven’t seen this happen for a while now. Instead of displaying the account with the usual format pop/imap/smtp.gmail.com, it displays the server’s IP. Doesn’t make any difference

Thanks for your answers. Sorry, I already deleted the entry but it showed an IP address where you’d normally see, say, live.com and then POP3, 995, SSL.
I looked up the address and it belongs to Microsoft, so it seems as Logos has described.
