Mail to myself

I often send mail to myself – different send and from address – to store copies.

I often get a warning on such e-mail :

the iFrame tag is more frequently used in web pages to import content into a specific area, this can also have code executed so it is a powerful tool which can/could be used for malicious purposes also. In emails it is more frequently used to import adverts, etc.

Check out the Internet Mail, Customize…, Heuristics, Permitted URLs and add the remote location (see image). You can’t define specific email addresses only the domain name that the content is coming from.

David:

But then could I, say, add a *.componentics.com to the safe list, which then would free up all personal mail sent to myself?

Regards,
Chuck

Well, if the stuffs have iframes you’ll get them regardless this, I mean, the emails that come from componentics.com
Write *componentics.com and not *.componentics.com (with the first dot)

Got it.

Thanks guys.

Regards,
Chuck

Provided that the content of the iFrame is coming from that source domain (with the changed wildcard use Tech mentions).

This wouldn’t free up all personal email sent to you, only those emails that have the iFrame tag and the source of the iFrame content matched the safe list entry.

OK, thanks.
