I have been running avast since I fell over it on the internet about a month ago, and I did all the time have two strange problems with it.
First I have to repair the application everytime I start it up, and secondly the mail & web shields cannot be detected
I have Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 and I use the latest available version of avast, which is 7.0 (36987) and virus definition version 12052801
Why is the application not willing to cooperate with me.
Hallo, your problems might be related to the certificate-storage flaw, which should be gone with this update (which was issued 29.5.2012 16:00 CET). So just invoke update manually, or ait for next automatic check, and report, whether it helped :P)_

ps. 37028 is the build of the lateast update.
Now all the shields are working, after the automatic update. And also the other issue with the application repair is also gone.
