MailShield

Avast tells me that I need to export Mail Shield and then import it into my mail client, which is Thunderbird. When I try to import Mail Shield, Thunderbird tells me it is already there. I also changed the settings in avast! for SMTP, but this does not seem to change the situation.
The window with the message from Avast pops up about once a day. I delete it, and everything seems to work normally. But it’s annoying to have it reappear.
Avast support told me to repair Avast, And if that didn’t work I should uninstall and reinstall. I did this, but the window keeps appearing. I sent a ticket several days ago, but I have not received an answer.

i guess you mean certificate ? http://www.avast.com/en-eu/faq.php?article=AVKB91

to repair avast install
controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > repair option …wait a minute and reboot

Yes, the Mail Shield certificate. I tried the repair you suggested some time ago, but it didn’t work. I’ll try again.

I tried to manually install the Mail Shield, but it is already in Thunderbird, so I deleted it and tried to import it again. But I still get the message. Then I tried the Repair. The repair reinstalls the Mail Shield, but I still get a message. It may take an hour or two for the message to appear, but it still reappears.

have you tried with the latest beta to see if that changes anything?

I installed 2014.9.0.2013, but I still receive the message about Mail Shield.
